Club Listing

One of the reasons I first began searching the Internet was to find clubs local to me who would allow visitors to their shows and rallies. At the time there was nothing so I made a club database. Over the years I've gone from my first pitiful effort to the most comprehensive and complete club database in Australia that I know of. This listing (and the others on Steam & Engine) are successful because of you the reader who adds and maintains their favorite club(s). Thank you.

The Club Listing is database driven and currently contains over a hundred entries. Anyone can add a club to the listing, and please do. Australian and New Zealand clubs are preferred, but other overseas entries are allowed. There are many categories for you to choose from, and the club need only be loosely related to Steam & Engine. The categories include:

Aviation and Miniature Aviation
Historical Society
Marine and Miniature Marine
Mining
Model Engineering (in general)
Pioneer Village or Museum club
Prototype and Miniature Railways and Tram ways
Re-enactments
Rural Life
Transport
Vintage Cars
Vintage Machinery
Vintage Motorcycles

I often get asked if I can update club information which has become out of date, or provide a database password to someone to update an entry that another person has made. I can do both of these things, but please be patient and expect some questions to establish your bona-fides before I allow the changes.

You can go onto the Club Listings from where you can find a local club in the field which interests you, and/or you can add new entries.
