Emerald Winterfest 2005 Page : [ 1 ] - 2 - 3 - 4 -
This year’s Winterfest was our best ever with a strong turn out by both EDVMG members and others (Port Phillip and Heyfield). We had 27 engines in total which is outstanding compared to previous years – hopefully this show has finally reached critical mass and will expand each year. The weather was very kind to us, and the traditional township family day brought in a good and varied crowd. There was plenty of chatting at the fence between exhibitors and crowd members – I don’t think Bob repeated his coup with the R&V but who knows… he gets a little cagier each year! The council modifications to the park including new good quality stone paths kept the mud at bay and gave us a good place to string our fence with a much larger area than in previous years. All in all, a great little show. Click on the thumbnail for a bigger image.

Rosebery horizontal open crank 2hp sn10185. An odd colour scheme, but it was billed as the little kids engine afterall. It has an interesting and very effective home grown ignition system. You could hear the crack of the spark from a metre away!

Triumph Junior motor bike engine. 225cc capacity. The owner of this engine is seeking a rolling chassis (or even a basket case) to put this engine into to make a bike. Contact me if you can help.
