Melbourne Society of Model & Experimental Engineers - 7th Model Engineering Exhibition Page : 1 - [ 2 ] - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 -
On a dull weekend Oct 2nd & 3rd the MSMEE exhibition was once again on at Monash University. Held in the Civil Engineering building just near the crash test track the exhibition had a good turn out and a good balance of super serious rivet counters and the not so serious counterparts. There were enough items to keep my kids happy for about an hour (a new record for them!) with some exhibits where they were allowed to touch and play. Thrown in for good measure were some teams from Robo Wars.

A really cool clock. There are model clocks, then there are model clocks. This one would have a hard time standing upright in many homes! Big and impressive.

Nifty little pattern maker. The kids liked watching this almost as much as the little girl did demonstrating it.
