Hi Folks, The "official" numbers from the Portland 1999 show are... 2382 gas engines (280 Indiana Built) 649 tractors (85 Odd Ball & Orphans) 325 Garden Tractors 216 Model Engines 42 Model Tractors 19 Antique Trucks 27 Antique Cars 13 Model Steam Engines 7 Full Size Steam Engines 443 Miscellaneous Exhibits These numbers are only those who REGISTERED. Lots of exhibitors only bother to register one of the engines in their display. And these figures don't include the hundreds of engines, etc. that were in the sales area. Fair to middlin' size show fer sure. They had exhibitors from 37 states in the US, Canada, Australia, and Sicily. And visitors from the Netherlands and England. BTW, there are only 308 days, 15 hours, and 43 minutes until Portland 2000! Plan to be there.
