Steam & Engine of Australia

Ronaldson Tippet Centenery Rally 2004

In 2004 it has been 100 years since the first engine was manufactured by Ronaldson Brothers & Tippet. A rally was organised to commerate the event attended by over 600 engines and tractors. There were loads of the common or garden N types (although seemingly every one that I saw was just a little different! A number of rarer engines were scattered amongst the crowded field. I never thought I'd think to myself... gee look another side shaft engine.

Click this link for a panoramic photo of the rally field - it is huge so be patient!!
