Restoration of Rosebery Engines & MachineryThe Rosebery brand is probably the most common "block" engine to be found in Australia. They are often shunned at rallies as they are so plain. Because of this they are a great starting place for any collector want to be. They are very simple mechanically and easy to restore to working order. Parts are available from F.A. Maker in Laverton (a suburb of Melbourne) including a full overhaul kit including every gasket and spring you'll need. I have developed a liking for them and have three, two stand alone 3C engines one of 1930's vintage and the other from the 1950's and a 2C mounted on a drag saw.
