The Puffing Billy Museum at Menzies Creek has for many years had a dormant inoperable George and George boiler house. The house was slowly disintergrating for many years.

Museum and Workshops volunteers and staff have worked to restore this boiler and boiler house to magnificent condition. Seen here on the evening of 26 May 2010 with the boiler in steam and surrounding stationary engines operational.

The boiler and ancillary equipment are not only running, they've been restored with their heritage appearance in mind. Surrounded by appropriate era tools and equipment and kept spotlessly clean the house is a wonder to see.

Adjacent the boiler house are a number of stationary engines that are restored and operational. Here are a couple of great looking Tangye engines.
