This engine has been found in the Australian bush, unfortunately I do not know exactly where. The new owners have asked if I can identify the engine and this is the best way I know to do that. If you think you know what this engine is, then please e-mail both me and

Herewith the photos of the engine which Alex and my father-in-law, Jack, have their eye on for their next restoration The details we have are : it used to drive a 5 stamp battery; has 4" crank, 5ft diameter Flywheel - 6 spokes and 5" depth/width, 10" bore, 2 0" stroke, bob weights governor 12 x three quarter stud head
Unfortunately there was no serial number plate or any other identifying marks/numbers etc left on it.
