On 13th April 2005, PBR ran a triple headed consist on train No. 11 on the Yellow Timetable. Leaving Belgrave at the head of the consist was 12A, 7A, and 14A. Normally this train runs double headed to Lakeside, but 12A required testing and Workshops ran the loco on this train to Menzies Creek, then light engine back to Belgrave as Train No.10. This is a very unusual event at the PBR, last time I saw or heard of a triple was about two years ago.

At last 14A and 7A are docked onto the train in the platform. Nearly ready to go, only one loco to come now.

12A has come out from loco, and run down to the crossing and now sets back onto the train.

All coupled up and ready to go. The train is marshalled and ready to go. The announcements are being made on the platform and the people urged to board.

In full view and starting to power again to lift the train up the slight grade after the trestle. Today's trip is absolutely effortless with three engines on the front of the train.
